Volia!

AND....here is my attempt at "green" wrapping! My newspaper "flower" does not look as polished as my inspirational image but it will do! ;)
BUT...I am loving my peacock package! ...I have to admit that I bought a roll of this ribbon at Michaels a few weeks ago but it was half off and how could I pass up a roll of peacock feather ribbon.???...

...so now I have a huge chunk of gifts wrapped and have started baking (a task that will take weeks. and weeks)...for NOW, I am trying to talk to the boys into creating an alien invasion on the side of my house out of the 6 inches of snow we have had!...stay tuned:)

  4. How clever you are, repurposing existing papers into really stylish and charming wrappings.
These look so appealing that who knows - maybe by next year the wrapping paper industry will be putting out product that resembles newspaper and magazine covers, just to be chic!
    Happy Advent,

  6. LOVE your wrapping. it's hard not to buy something colorful. i usually buy a packet of multi-colored tissue paper, and layer, ruffle, shred, twist, whatever to give gifts a little umph. otherwise, love newspaper! last year's holiday cards are also great to cut out and decorate gifts with! love your letter stamping ideas!
