Dad dressing up as Santa for the kids
Baking cookies
Elf on the Shelf
Cousin’s Christmas Tea Party
Candlelight and twinkle lights non-stop through the month of December
Cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning
Christmas Movie Marathon Night (which included the A-Team and Season 1 of Modern Family this year;)
Watching Its a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve Day while wrapping gifts from Santa
Girls Christmas dinner
Reading Christmas stories
Christmas light drive with Starbucks
Celebrating Winter Solstice
Going to a family movie on Christmas afternoon (we saw Tron this year...loved it:)
Spending four days straight with Uncle Dave…..hanging out at my parents house like we would if we were all out of town
Opening presents on Christmas morning

  3. ~the merriest of holiday blessings upon your family...wonderful traditions here...may the magic remain with all each day that comes forth...i remember my father and uncle doing the same...dressings up and or climbing on the roof so we could hear santa and his reindeer...hehehe...much love light and blessings be with you and yours~

  6. Perhaps we just go with the flow now. Most of our traditions involved things for the kids when they were little, such as: hay on the roof for the reindeer. The only thing that seems to be repeated now is Christmas Eve services. Oh yes, particular goodies seem to make it to our table every year - my favorite is hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and a candy cane standing in it. Lots of little things, nothing big.
