I have been dreaming of living in a gypsy caravan since I was 9 years old......I have always been enchanted by the idea of living in a tiny space filled with bold colors and happy twinkle lights...able to move on when the wind changed or a new adventure awaited my arrival!
Since the rest of my family REFUSES to move out of the comfort of their home...I have decided to buy one...just for me. I have been researching.....:)
For now...I leave you with the images that dance through my dreams......
Cute, cute! So glad you're doing it....a little place to drape in colorful fabric and slather in bright paint....a place to inspire mischief, mayhem...and Magick!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I would love to live in a Gypsy caravan so awsome! Unfortunatly I collect to much stuff! Yet I still live in a tiny little faerie cottage, maybe you have the right idea!
ReplyDeleteLove it Blessings

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! As a child I thought I would love to live in a tiny space the size of my Grandma's bathroom. Your gypsy caravans are wonderful. Loving more color lately too.
ReplyDeleteAnyone of those look very fun to live in. I hope your dream comes true! :)

This is kismet. I too have always fancied a gypsy caravan. The sounds I imagine all the gorgeous hangy downs would make are tinkling in my imagination right now. I hope you get your hearts desire.

My mother always wanted an Irish Tinker's caravan. I love this collage. Have you seen the movie "Into the West" with Gabriel Byrne? I think you'd love it.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago for our anniversary, my husband and I stayed in a gypsy wagon at Ravenwood Castle in SE Ohio http://www.ravenwoodcastle.com/. I think I would love one of these for a craft studio, but I'm sure my girls would quickly commandeer it for themselves!
ReplyDeleteOh, the whole idea of a gypsy caravan is lovely! I am thinking of trying to create a room that resembles one. That will be lots of work. Thanks for the lovely images. Theresa
ReplyDeleteoh I love gypsy caravans, once I saw seven gypsy caravans past my work. They were walking the horses. They were just incredable. I just dropped everything and ran outside to look. Never seen anything like it since but I do see one occassionally. It would make a great little retreat. hugs Sara
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!! I have written several posts about my love and wish for a gypsy caravan! I want so very much to have one in my backyard to decorate and play in!! I can't wait to see what you get!
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I have not seen one in the classifieds. But they are cute...maybe there is not a large turnover.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh! I have always wanted a gypsy caravan too. I used to have a folder with saved gypsy designs I loved but lost them in a 'fried computer' episode.
ReplyDeleteI love your collage. LOVE IT!
